Mr. P M Hegde completed the Government Diploma in Accountancy (GDA) in Mumbai during the British Raj. He started practicing in Mangalore and became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) with Membership No. 46 in 1949.
He served as a Lecturer and Vice Principal at St Aloysius Evening College in Mangalore for 19 years, teaching various subjects in the commerce stream. With 53 years of practice, he's been an active member of the Lions Club since 1979.
